What prices do you use to value my portfolio?

Different holdings in your portfolio are priced in different ways depending on their market and type.

UK-listed shares

These are valued using the bid price. This is updated on a 15-minute delayed basis from 8.16am to 4.45pm each business day unless you switch live pricing on. You can turn on live pricing through the toggle in your portfolio.

Between 4.45pm and 4.50pm, these prices change to reflect the London Stock Exchange’s closing auction process. Shortly after 4.50pm, it will show the closing auction or final closing price.

Non-UK, US, or Canadian-listed investments

Live prices aren't available for non-UK listed shares, funds, bonds or other types of investment. The price you see in your portfolio will be the latest available. This is normally the price at the close of business on the previous business day.

Funds are generally priced daily, and we’ll show the latest available price. 'Price +/- %' tells you the change between the closing price yesterday and the day before that.
